Long Eaton Astronomical Society Meeting – Thursday 21st November 2013

The first Astronomical Society meeting of this academic year will take place next Thursday and begin at 7pm with a talk on what you can observe in the winter sky now and over the coming months.

The meeting is open to members of the public, if you are not currently a member of the society please email the observatory to book your places. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Refreshments will be available from 6.45pm with the meeting starting at 7pm. After the talk there will be an observing opportunity if the weather is clear.

Provisional date for the next meeting is Monday December 16th, with an earlier start of 6pm – if the weather allows it we should get an excellent view of the moon that evening.

We would like to thank all members of the Astronomical Society for their patience and look forward to seeing you all next week.
