Stargazing Live Event Tuesday 14th January

Everyone is welcome to attend the public session on Tuesday January 14th. The session will start at 6pm and the observatory will be open for tours and observing the moon and Jupiter if the weather allows.

East Midlands Stargazers will be available to give advice to all budding astronomers. They will have telescopes on display and if the skies are clear they will be set up outside for observing. They will be happy to discuss any aspects of practical astronomy.

In the Orange Social Area we will have interactive experiments and demonstrations with a space theme and refreshments available. We will also have a comet making demonstration run by Year 11 Astronomy students.

We look forward to seeing you for a fun filled evening.
