Astronomical Society Meeting Thursday 27th February

The Long Eaton Astronomical Society meeting will start as 5.45pm for refreshments on Thursday 27th February in the rotunda. James Cottell MSci who studied at The University of Nottingham will speak at 6pm about merging galaxies.

After the presentation we shall be observing if it is clear, we hope to catch sight of Jupiter  and M42.

Refreshments will be from 5:45pm, as always – all are welcome. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Membership renewals will be continue, membership is £8 for the rest of 2014 and forms will be available at the meeting. For non members we request a donation of £2 towards refreshments.
