MARSBalloon 2015 Update

Our 3 plucky space eggsplorers have completed their edge of space flight. There is however one small issue. They are currently up a tree on the edge of the Martin Down National Nature Reserve in the south of England awaiting the forestry commission to rescue them today.marsballoon

The flight took place yesterday Wednesday 17th June with a launch from the Mendips at just after noon. The maximum altitude recorded was just short of 31km. Let’s hope the Forestry Commission are able to recover the pod safely.
