Long Eaton Astronomical Society November Meeting – 26th November.

The next meeting for the Long Eaton Astronomical Society is on Thursday 26th November at the usual time of 6:30pm.

Our guest speaker is Dr Julian Onions of Nottingham University with his talk entitled “Galaxies – One Gigayear at a Time”. Dr Onions says: “What are galaxies, how are they classified, how are they formed, what do we understand about their lives, and how many pretty pictures can I fit in one talk.”

As always all are welcome, members free, visitors are welcome for a suggested donation of £2 towards the cost of refreshments etc. Refreshments will be available from 6:15pm. Fingers crossed for some clear sky and perhaps a chance for some observing.
